Windflower Resorts & Spa Vythiri Wayanad

Windflower Resort & spa is located in a quiet place in wayanad, surrounded by a tea estate. The resort is so big and cool, the rooms are so big and have a luxurious look, especially the bathroom. The balcony and hall are also so good. It is located at the top of the hill, where the view is so good. Spa service is good, valet parking is there. A morning tea estate wall is also offered. The negative point is the taste of food should be improved and the swimming pool is not so good. Must try resort for relaxation.

Overall Moderate experience. Rooms are big and decent view of mountains. Villas have quite big jacuzzi. Needs to improve on service and hospitality, doesnt feel the luxury for cost you pay. Similar resorts have a better hospitality. Food options are minimal but kind of just enough as it has what you need. Only beer available. Breakfast spread is good enough. Hi-tea is paid. Food service was late. Staff are friendly, quite are few can speak English. They have good swimming pool, spa. Kids play area needs improvement and also indoor games needs maintenance.

Despite having several options, we opted for this property for our winter vacation primarily due to its reputed brand. However, our experience turned out to be quite disappointing, prompting us to compile a list of issues encountered: 1. Upon our arrival, despite requesting a hot welcome drink, it was served lukewarm. 2. The property lacked a buggy service inside, this is must for elderly people. 3. They do not provide Room intercoms instead provided mobile number which was inaccessible due to network issues. 4. Connecting to the Wi-Fi was challenging, leading us to decide not to rely on it. 5. The property appeared quite aged, with rooms in need of proper maintenance, evident from the presence of spider webs in various areas. 6. The flush in our room was not functioning. 7. Despite choosing the property for its advertised Jacuzzi, only two villas offered a good view, contrary to the web pages' portrayal. 8. Heating the Jacuzzi water took more than 3-4 hours, and once filled, it left us without water in the bathroom, resulting in a disappointing experience. 9. The kids' play area showed signs of neglect, with rusted swings and see-saws. 10. Room service was unprofessional, with delays in providing the laundry kit and towels, necessitating multiple calls. 11. We awarded one star for the food; however, considering the cost, the variety of menu offered was limited.
